While the world keeps expanding like a loaf of raisin bread rising, conversations with strangers in New York City and elsewhere keep me rooted in a world of wonder. Wonder, charm, and magic live inside this city. I need charm like I need air, and on this journey, I wish to blow on you.
In my writing and in life, I feel magic through music, humor, and raw expression. Honesty is beautiful and sacred. I want to create a rich composty soil for honesty, charm, and inspiration to grow, especially for people who yearn for their imagination and self-expression to swell and find witnesses.
In my own life, I have battled between honoring my intuition and being who I thought others wanted me to me. I have edited myself, hidden my quirks, swallowed my feelings, and denied my voice. I am on a different path now, and it feels awesome.
This website is my quest to listen to the quirkiness of real people and to tell their stories, and in the process to tell a bit of my story. I am interested in lovers, artists, travelers, spiritual seekers, storytellers, and anyone surprising. I am interested in beautiful food and people who eat gluten free.
When I am not talking to strangers, I consult to organizations in areas of organizational development, organizational change, conflict resolution, non-violent communications, strategic thinking, teambuilding, and innovation. I also coach individuals who wish to make career changes or create projects that are daring, full of life, and completely possible. I have my Masters Degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, my BA in Sociology from Oberlin College, and additional training in coaching, mediation, and conflict resolution.
